BUYING
ANTIQUES - How we work
When you come over to France to buy
antiques, we will provide you a “buying kit”
which includes:
- a carbon copy notebook to write down your purchases,
- stickers and tags to identify your items, which
you may use everywhere in France, but also in
England, Belgium and Italy.
(Should you like to receive a buying kit ahead
in order to get organized, just send us the address
where we should send it).
As you buy, it is preferable that
you give us the slips matching your purchases in
order for us to collect them as quickly as possible.
You can drop them off at our market office in St
Ouen or at our main office in Montreuil (Paris,
Porte de Montreuil) or even mail them to us as soon
as you can.
As soon as we have this information,
we start collecting your purchases, provided the
dealer has been paid for the merchandise. Alternatively,
we can pay the dealers ourselves as we pick up the
merchandise, in which case you need to have wired
us funds prior to your trip in France. Once you’re
done buying, we send you a complete list of your
purchases and the position of your client account.
Your goods are then put into storage
in our warehouse in Montreuil pending any specific
instructions you may have. Once you have confirmed
that your purchases are complete, we will begin
preparations for shipping.
